Topic: Building Capacity and Applying the Framework Clinically

Presented by Corinne Badenhorst and Dr Cuan Wayne Coetzee

The final step is to translate understanding into clinical action: knowing what movement to use, for whom, at what dose and when to progress.

Dr Cuan Wayne Coetzee presents the MOVE phase of Neural Re-Education. He explores how graded exposure, progressive loading, strength, endurance and coordination can build physical capacity, movement confidence and long-term resilience. He also addresses progression, home programmes, habit formation, flare planning and the development of patient ownership and self-efficacy.

Corinne Badenhorst brings the nervous-system science from the first two webinars into the treatment room. She shows how to recognise a patient’s nervous-system state, identify the mechanism that needs to be targeted and select movement accordingly. Using the STATE model and practical patient profiles, she explores what to use, what to avoid, how to track the patient’s response and how to recognise when the nervous system is ready to progress.

This webinar closes the gap between understanding the science and knowing what to do when a real patient arrives on Monday morning.
